How do I start translating a khutbah?

From the dashboard, create a room (once), then open it and tap "Go Live". Allow microphone access and speak naturally. Captions appear for listeners within a couple of seconds.

How do listeners join?

Share the room's QR code or link (Dashboard → Manage → QR), or display the 6-digit TV pairing code from a mosque television via the /tv page. No app install is required on either side.

What's the difference between staff, administrator, and owner?

Accepted Answer

The account you registered with is always the owner and can do anything. Owners can invite administrators, who can manage rooms, sessions, prayer-time settings, and invite plain staff, but they can't change the mosque's login email/password or manage other administrators. Staff can run day-to-day rooms/sessions but can't see account settings, billing-equivalent info, the staff roster, or the audit log.

A staff member was invited but can't sign in yet

Invited accounts start with no password. Have them check their email for a 6-digit code and finish setup at /staff/accept. After that, they sign in from the normal login page like anyone else.

How does the private-room PIN work?

Accepted Answer

Dashboard → Manage on any room lets you switch it to "Private". A 6-digit PIN is generated automatically; listeners must enter it once before their captions connect. The QR/link itself doesn't change.

Can I delete a past khutbah from history, or share just one?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Expand any entry on the History page. "Share archive link" gives out a read-only public link to that one transcript without exposing the rest of your history; "Delete" permanently removes the transcript and feedback for that session.

Prayer times aren't showing up

Connect a mosque in Settings → Prayer times (Mawaqit) first: search by name/city, then Connect. If a connection exists but times aren't refreshing, use "Refresh now"; any error from Mawaqit is shown directly under the connection so you know whether to retry or pick a different listing.

Is there a limit on rooms or how long I can broadcast?

Yes, by design. This is a khutbah translation tool, not a general live-streaming platform. There's a cap on rooms per mosque and a maximum single broadcast length; contact support if you have a legitimate need for more.

Can I install Fahm on the mosque TV as an app?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There's a Fahm TV app for Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV. It appears on the TV's home screen and opens the display full-screen, keeps the screen awake, reconnects on its own if the network drops, and remembers the paired room so nobody re-enters the code. The browser works fine too; the app is simply more convenient for a screen that stays on all day.
